Renee Kulhanek, MD
Medical Director and Lead Physician

Dr. Kulhanek is a Board Certified physician with more than 17 years experience. She completed her residency in Danbury, Connecticut as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine before moving to South Florida in 1996. Since that time, she has served as an Internal Medicine physician for Bethesda Health, Holy Cross Hospital and private medical and urgent care practices before joining us. Dr. Kulhanek is a caring and capable medical provider who puts her patients at ease with her easy-going, friendly manner.

Dr. Katz, MD

Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care Physician

Edward H. Katz MD was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but has enjoyed being a Vero Beach native since 1991. He is married to his High School sweetheart for 37 years and has raised three wonderful children . He was a Board Certified Pharmacist working through Medical School graduating from New York Medical College. Practicing Emergency Medicine in the Hospital he was born in, and subsequently completing a fellowship in Cardiac and pediatric Anesthesia. Dr. Katz specialized in Urgent Care Medicine and is now enjoying the wide spectrum and challenges as the Medical Director for the best Urgent Care practice and Healthcare Team in Indian River County. Dr. Katz loves practicing medicine and delivering exemplified Care. He also enjoys and values family time, playing Ice Hockey, Life, and serenity.


Marilou Forte, PA-C

Louise Forte, PA-C received her Physician Assistant Degree from Touro College in New York. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants. Louise is an experienced medical practitioner of 20 years who specializes in providing quality patient care in Obstetrics/Gynecology, ICU, Urgent Care setting as well as generalized medical practice. One of her greatest accomplishments is her publication in the National Medical Journal in September of 1993 volume 85. #9

Osvaldo A.Osvaldo Alvarez, PA-C

Osvaldo ( Ossie ) Alvarez is a Physician Assistant with 20 years of experience in Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine with a sub-specialty in Cardiology. He started his Medical Career as an Army Medic in the mid-1980’s , then became a Registered Nurse in Critical Care and Emergency/Trauma Nursing for 5 years before becoming a Physician Assistant. He is a Graduate of Hahnemann University’s Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and has served as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Instructor for Hahnemann University and Philadelphia School of Osteopathic Medicine’s Physician Assistant Programs. He is currently certified in Advanced Cardiac Life support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.


Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine Provider

PA Cowgill has been with Indian River Walk in Clinic for more than 7 years and is a Board Certified Physicians Assistant. He is experienced in Urgent Care, Family Practice, Occupational Medicine and Pediatrics. Todd graduated from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, School of Allied Health Sciences in Dallas, with a Bachelor of Science/Physician Assistant degree in 1988 and has been practicing in central Florida since 1991. Many thousands of patients in Vero Beach and surrounding areas have come to rely on Todd for outstanding and effective medical care.

Phrancesca DesAuguste, MSN, ARNP, NP-C received her Master’s of Science Nursing, Advanced Nurse Practitioner Degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2008 and is certified by the America Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Phrancesca has proven herself over and over again to be an exceptional medical provider in both Urgent care and Occupational Medicine and repeat patients frequently ask for her by name.
